McCain leads both Democrats by electoral votes

If the general election is held today, McCain would defeat both Democrats.  On March 31, 2008, Electoral-vote.com reports state-by-state polling results:
McCain 278 v. Clinton 229 (Ties 31)
McCain 324 v. Obama 205  (Ties 9)

Newest Texas poll result; McCain fought back Obama’s attack on Iraq policy and pointed out that U.S. military presence has maintained stability in Asia

Here is some result from the newest Texas poll by The Houston Chronicle:
McCain led with 53.4 percent support to Huckabee’s 26.8 percent and Paul’s 10.7 percent in a survey that had a margin of error of plus or minus 4.1 percentage points. McCain led among all groups, including self-identified conservatives.

Despite the national spotlight on Obama/Clinton, McCain has slowly resumed his lead
